CTBE published a report in the August Issue of Harvard Business Review China, titled “From Traffic-Oriented to Ecosystem Design: New Competitive Logic in the AI Era” (《从流量本位到生态设计——AI时代的新竞争逻辑》) . The report was co-authored by Dr. Yu HU, CTBE's Advisory Committee Member, and Prof. Zhaoli MENG, CTBE's Associate Director.

The Center focuses its research on how emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, are reshaping business ecosystems, strategies, and industry landscapes. Drawing on the practices of technology firms in China, the Center aims to advance the study of business ecosystems and illuminate the impact of technological disruptions on industries and ecosystem evolution through theoretical frameworks, strategic insights, and case studies. Beyond research, the Center is committed to fostering exchanges between academia, industry, and policymakers within its focus areas.

2025年5月19日，香港科技大学商学院技术与商业生态研究中心副主任孟昭莉博士一行拜访香港科技大学（广州）（以下简称“港科大（广州）”）功能枢纽。港科大（广州）功能枢纽院长温维佳教授等接待孟昭莉博士一行。来访团随后参观了学校核心建筑、绿色e材料实验室、超级能源科技主题实验室、材料表征与制备中央实验室、微纳系统制造中央实验室。此外，功能枢纽还安排孟昭莉博士一行参观了与学校有密切联系的企业，以展示在产学研一体化方面取得的成果。
