Biography

Tracy Liu is the Founder of the Mingzhu Training Program and President of the HKUST Alumni Association Shanghai Chapter. With over 20 years of solid experience in executive education, Tracy has built an extensive learning platform and social network connecting scholars, investors, business owners, and senior executives from leading enterprises across China.

From 2003 to 2008, Tracy worked at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), one of Asia’s top business schools, where she held key roles in operations, sales, and marketing. She managed the Global CEO Program—the first joint executive program with Harvard Business School (HBS) and IESE, which has since become one of China’s most prestigious executive education programs, profoundly impacting business leaders.

Since 2011, Tracy has launched a series of executive programs in family business management, collaborating with world-renowned institutions such as Wharton, IMD, HKUST, HKU, and National Taiwan University. In 2016, she co-founded the Mingzhu Training Program with Ms. Dong Mingzhu, the influential business leader and President of Gree Electric Appliances Inc. The program empowers entrepreneurs from traditional industries to upgrade and innovate their businesses. To date, hundreds of participants from diverse industries across China have benefited from the training and continue to actively engage on the platform.

Tracy earned her MBA degree from HKUST in 2010 and was honored with the Non-Academic Contributor Award for her service to the MBA program. She has remained an active leader in the alumni community. She is also an alumna of the UCLA Anderson School of Management in the U.S.
